Exteriors
Most of these exteriors were painted on site, and some of them took many return visits painting for several hours to complete, surrounded by yellow jackets, snakes and squirrels. A lot of sunscreen went into the creation of these paintings.

Standing alone in the junkyard with an igloo of Gatorade, singing along to Tom Waits and Beck on my Sony Discman, the sun slowly creeping across the cars and the weeds growing even more slowly between them, my sense of time was profoundly altered while I painted these works.

One might get the impression from these paintings that I like old cars.
