Getting Natural Light Into the Building

Since there were no windows in the warehouse areas, I cut 30 square holes in the roof and installed frosted skylights to bring natural light into the spaces.
There was considerable finish work on the skylights after the roofers had flashed them all in and had fixed all the places on the roof where water was leaking. One section of the roof had to be entirely replaced.
I began to realize that despite all our efforts the remodel was going to cost twice as much as what I thought the worst case scenario would be.
